Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to reach 21 goals at the World Cup and European Championship. The Portugal star, who scored 14 in European Championship and other 7 in World Cup in total 109 equaled Ali Daei's all-time international goal scoring record. The 36-year-old overtook former Germany striker Miroslav Klose, who managed 19 goals over his career at the two tournaments. Ronaldo this year became the first player to appear at five different European Championships, having made his tournament debut back in 2004.
